📈 Art Blocks surpassed $275m in first era sales

  • Generative art platform Art Blocks (AB) is among the most successful NFT projects. With over $275m in sales since inception on Nov 20, 2020, ArtBlocks helped over 128k unique wallets mint a generative art piece. ArtBlocks recently announced big changes to the platform, with Playground and Factory collections becoming AB Presents, while Curated collections will no longer be included in series. The first era ends with over 203k unique pieces of generative art minted.

  • Nearly 36k wallets currently hold an ArtBlocks piece, with an average of ~5.6 pieces per wallet. Four wallets hold over 1,000 pieces, with one wallet at over 2,000 AB NFTs.

  • Chromie Squiggles are AB's first project, and have seen the most sales by volume and number of trades. Other top projects by volume include Tyler Hobbs' Fidenza - at a significantly higher average - as well as the popular Ringers, Pigments, and Memories of Qilin.
